The Czech Museum of Music
The Czech Museum of Music completed preparation to launch the Methodological Centre for Documentation, Preservation and the Restoration of Musical Instruments. We have managed to acquire many valuable items to the collections. Catalogues of the collections have been used worldwide; they are becoming more and more accessible on-line. The process of digitizing the collections is now developing, including the new workstation for audio digitalization. Employees were successfully solving the projects of NAKI (Program of Applied Research and the Development of National and Cultural Identity), DKRVO (the long-term conceptual development of the research organization) and internal scientific tasks. Programs for the wider public are becoming more popular, especially those for children.
